Full Operations Responsibility Australian Multinational Remuneration circa $120K package This is an exciting opportunity. It is with a rapidly expanding company which now forms part of one of Australia’s most respected manufacturing groups. What makes it exciting is that there is a) so much to do, b) so much potential for the company and c) that all this will happen with access to the considerable resources now available to fund the expected growth. The position will suit experienced, commercially minded Production Managers or Operations Managers who reside in the North Western, Northern and lower Northern and Inner Western suburbs of Sydney, who match the flowing criteria: Change management experience and skills A very hands on approach to leadership and development of personnel Strong commitment to the safety and well-being of all stakeholders Attention to detail and ability to implement workable systems and processes A background in short and long run batch manufacturing and assembly Experience in working constructively with new product development, technical and sales personnel While there is good support for this position, we need someone who has a preparedness to become involved in all aspects of operations on a daily basis. This is not a position that will be successfully managed from an office. You will be expected to provide leadership and still become involved in all aspects of operations including; Employee Relations, OH&S, Purchasing, Planning, Distribution and the functions referred to above. We need someone who can lift the overall professionalism of this key plant in all areas of its operations – much has been done, but there is more to do. Can you do it?
