Industrial Manufacturing 24/7 Communicate – Communicate – Communicate In excess of $100K package Over the last five years, much has been done to move this large site towards safe and sustainable operations through high levels of visibility, communications and 6 Sigma (there are two black belts on site). With the current Manufacturing Manager assuming wider levels of responsibility, the time has come to introduce a new person to continue the successful focus on continuous improvement, change and excellence in OH&S and Environment. This challenging role will appeal to plant/manufacturing managers who have posted achievements in productivity and quality in the heavier side of manufacturing and: Enjoy maintaining a very high level of visibility on the shop floor Rank achievements over experience Can demonstrate win-win in a unionised environment Are conversant (at the least) with 6 Sigma Have working experience with BPCS or similar Have proven successes in the area of employee safety Who have lead a diverse team numbering over 150 people This is a critical position in a division of a large high profile company. It presents the opportunity to build on the success of the incumbent and ultimately be recognised for your ability and achievements.
