This position can be seen as a meaningful step towards senior engineering, operations or supply chain management – you will have strong influence over your future career. We need a Degree qualified engineer (mechanical or similar) to work with experienced Operations and Project Engineering teams to bring this plant to even higher levels of efficiency. The plant uses quite unique and sophisticated production processes and equipment. This position is needed to further capitalise on considerable process improvements already made and to ensure maximum return on the current significant capital expenditure, which is ongoing. You will need engineering experience within a continuous or high volume batch manufacturing/processing environment. It is also desirable that you understand the limitations and opportunities presented when managing capital and production projects in a demanding manufacturing business. This will enable you to ensure that your production engineering contribution is to the immediate benefit of operations and logistics teams.
