Reporting to the National HR Manager, this newly created position is a result of rapid expansion and business growth, in addition to planned greenfield sites. As such, there is a strong operational focus on day to day recruitment across a range of disciplines. Working autonomously across multiple sites and states, you will manage the entire recruitment process which will include:
* Writing advertisements and placing advertisements using appropriate media * Screening applications, scheduling and conducting interviews * Conducting employment reference checks * Managing both permanent and temporary recruitment * Providing on going education and support to managers regarding recruitment and selection techniques * Providing weekly reports on hiring activities * Managing the recruitment database as well as liaising with both external candidates and internal business divisions
The strategic aspect of the role will require developing and implementing candidate attraction strategies for specialised and / or unique positions, along with the establishment of broader recruitment strategies regarding the attraction and retention of staff and effective methods of recruitment.
Ideally tertiary qualified you will have prior experience in industrial and / or engineering recruitment at all levels and possess demonstrable skills in behavioural based interviewing. Your ability to effectively communicate, problem solve, influence and build credible relationships at all levels in the business will be critical to your success.
