Working autonomously, you will be responsible for partnering with management across multiple sites and states to develop and implement innovative national OHS and Workers Compensation programs that drive compliance and influence cultural change, in addition to your day to day site responsibilities. This will include managing specific safety plans, designing and facilitating training, conducting audits and investigations, managing the return to work process, and reporting to senior management on OHS performance and trends.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role for a tertiary qualified OHS practitioner. Critical to your success will be exceptional communication, consultation and negotiation skills, along with a focus on achieving commercially viable, practical results. In addition, you must be analytical, highly motivated, results oriented, and have the ability to lead and influence a management team.
