Reporting to the OHS Manager, your key objective will be to partner effectively with site and operational management to implement the full range of OHS and Injury Management systems and services. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Development of Safe Work Method Statements
• Conducting OHS risk assessments
• Documenting OHS procedures / processes
• Assisting and advising business units to ensure a safe working environment
• Maintaining current safety management systems and procedures
• Managing return to work and workers compensation processes
This is a hands-on role for a tertiary qualified and experienced OHS practitioner with the ability to deliver commercially practical solutions. In addition, you must demonstrate an effective influencing ability, along with a proactive, motivated approach that will ensure OHS plays an active role in the achievement of business objectives. Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment will be highly regarded.
