Reporting to the EHS Manager, your key objective will be to partner effectively with various stakeholders to deliver comprehensive OHS and injury management processes and support services to the business that are commercially practical. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Development of Safe Work Method Statements
• Conducting OHS risk assessments
• Documenting OHS procedures / processes
• Assisting and advising business units to ensure a safe working environment
• Maintaining current safety management systems and procedures
• Managing return to work and workers compensation processes
Degree qualified, or studying towards completion of such, this is a hands-on role for an experienced OHS practitioner able to demonstrate an effective influencing ability and a proactive, motivated approach that will ensure OHS plays an active role in the achievement of business objectives. Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment will be highly regarded, although is not essential. Above all else, you must have a sense of humour !
